This project provides oil smoke purification for the CUHK Shenzhen campus canteen. The canteen serves all students and staff and is adjacent to laboratory and research buildings housing high-precision scientific instruments. If oil smoke infiltrates through the shared ventilation system, it would deposit on precision equipment causing damage. The school requires completely independent sealed oil smoke ducts and purification equipment. The medium-scale kitchen with mainly light cooking and some stir-frying uses a fully sealed vertical integrated purification unit with no leak gaps, connected to a dedicated independent stainless steel exhaust shaft completely separated from teaching building ventilation. The double-layer high-density pre-filter intercepts most oil mist, with a raised rooftop exhaust outlet far from teaching building windows and a low-noise fan to avoid vibration interference with laboratory instruments. All construction was done during semester breaks. Post-operation, research building ventilation shows no oil residue, campus public areas have no cooking odors, emissions comply, and the fully sealed structure protects high-end research equipment.
