I love pearl white S14 Zenki's. What's even better are the classic looking SSR Meshies. I came across these pictures from Zilvia.net as the owner was selling the wheels a while back. Of course, check out the Vtund.com front lip! This is defeinitely a classic look for this car with the amber corners, wheels, lip, and sides.
Here's another Nissan S14 Zenki spotted on the internet rocking the Vtund.com front lip. This time the Vtund.com lip has been sticker bombed with various companies. Some to note are the Hellaflush, Fatlace, and the Illest stickers. This owner is a WFC or a Wrong Fitment Crew member #410 from Louisiana and got the stance and wheel fitment right on point. The clear headlamp lenses definitely give the car a more modern look. Visit the WFC website or click here to view the owner's build thread and for more pictures.
I saw these photos taken by Jeffrey Soriano from the Remix Hawaii event on the Stance Nation website. I'm seeing a lot more people mashing up the S14 Nissan Vtund.com lip with the JDM Zenki side skirts. I must say these cars coming from Hawaii are built to perfection. This car is flawless with the perfect aero mix, wheel choice and fitment, and color scheme. For more information visit the Stance Nation article on the Remix Hawaii event. http://www.stancenation.com/2010/12/12/remix-hawaii-teaser-photo-coverage/
Here are more pictures taken of that S14 Zenki sporting the Vtund.com front lip from HelluvaRides' website of the 2010 Remix Hawaii Car Show. Those rear overfenders and negative camber just make the car look so mean! The smoked lenses and removal of the zenki front middle bar on the front bumper makes the oem bumper look clean and perfect. This is what a Zenki S14 should look likeso everyone take notes! http://helluvarides.com/Blog/2010-Remix-Hawaii-Car-Show-Photos

Here's another Korean B-boy crew, Marionette that I'm a huge fan of. Korean B-boys have been hitting the industry hard and have been top ranking in BOTY (Battle of the Year) events. These guys have been around for a while and have the BEST performances EVER! These are not short routines. These are performances that incorporate b-boying, theatrical music, and a storyline. This isn't easy to use b-boying to create a showcase, but Marionette's hard work has earned them their own Korean B-boy showcase and performance. Here are 2 new videos I came across on the internet of their recent showcase. And yes, I would pay to go see a performance like this! It's different, it's entertaining, it's creative, and it's addicting. When you watch their performances you just keep wanting to see more! Yes dance is an art and all forms of dance is it's own form of expression. This may be an old video but it's a Korean B-boy crew named Myosung who changed the whole tutting, popping, locking, and breaking into their own style. Their short, agressive, and precise movements look as if it's not humanly possible to move with such speed and force. This is the perfect video for Halloween. Imagine seeing these guys dressed up and b-boying at night time. Keep the arts alive! I was joking the other day at work about entering in a Talent Competition. It started with a letter that I received from the city about a Talent Competition. I was telling everyone that I could be called Bboy Banker and that I was entering the competition. A breakdancing banker? I got a good laugh out of it and then I came home today and saw the LXD episode below. LXD is The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers. It's a story of various dancers of all backgrounds that are being seeked by the LXD which is some "Extraordinary" group of dancers. These amazing dancers are seen to be the best of the best out there. LXD can only be found on Hulu.com. If you don't know what Hulu is, visit them today and you'll forget about cable. LXD clips are short, but they showcase a short but suspensful storyline with amazing cinematograthy, music that complements the video and engages you, and most of all crazy dance moves! I love how they show that dance cab be integrated as an art form in various things such as martial arts and how various dances are combined into a modern dance form. I wish I could shoot clips like they do. Amazing work!!!
Since I'm on a music spree right now I thought I would talk about another creative musician, Greg Patillo. It doesn't get more creative and original that this guy. Greg Patillo is known for his beatboxing flute skills. I love all types of music, but more so those who take music and instruments to a whole new level. You definitely have to google the group he's a part of called Project Trio. BUY THEIR CD even though they've been around for a while. You will definitely be blown away be these guys. Classical instruments + beatboxing + originality + playing live = something that is INSANELY PERFECT! Love it or hate it, I love it! I was listening to 106 KMEL today and heard a song by Trey Songz called "Can't be Friends" that sampled Bibo no Aozora by Ryuichi Sakamoto as the beat or loop. I was thrown off as this is my favorite composer who is known for his piano skills. I never thought of his music being sampled in an R&B format. I hate to say it though, I still love the original piece by Ryuichi Sakamoto. The combination of piano, chello, and violin simply pulls a raw emotion out of you where you can feel the music. There are some of those songs that were composed perfectly that it's hard to hear it redone. I love acronyms. One that I'm learning is BYOBW. BYOBW stands for Bring Your Own Big Wheels. This is all about taking your big wheel onto the streets. In this case this is an annual event where hundreds of people take their big wheels onto the curvy down hills roads of San Francisco. BYOBW was originally founded by Jon Brumit and occurs every Easter Sunday. This past BYOBW was the 10th annual event and was held on 20th and Vermont Street in San Francisco, Ca. If you are in the Bay Area, you love big wheels, you love curvy roads to get sideways on, then this is the event for you. Get ready for next year! For more information please go to the BYOBW website at http://sites.google.com/site/byobwsf/home. I thought Jay Leno had a pretty cool garage. Italian car manufacturer, Maserati had a contest that incorporated 2 things I love most, cars and architectual design. It's all about art, the creativity, and taking things to the next level. There are just no limits to art and design. Maserati's contest with Architectual Digest Magazine goal was to see who could design the best dream garage for a Maserati. Holger Schubert won the dream car garage design and implemented a design suitable as a car gallery and a living space. I love how he took it to the next level by incorporating a ramp that raises the vehicle to roll backwards. Thus, allowing him to start the vehicle outside the garage which prevents any fumes from accumulating in the space. That's just crazy, but in a good way! I wish my house had that same view as his Maserati does. Check out the video below of Holger's winning dream car garage! Ok, many know that I'm a huge Ken Block fan. Yes, I know that he's not rocking the Subaru anymore and is now on the Ford side. It's all about the driving skills and the AMAZING video footage compiled by his team! Just when you thought that Gymkhana 2 was the best car video out there, well get ready and check out Gymkhana 3 with Ken Block's Ford Fiesta! This video will get your heart beating and will leave your mouth wide open!!! All I can say is WOW! Don't forget to pick up some of their gear at http://www.dcshoes.com/auto. Here's another project that I finally finished. No it's not an aero part, but a tool this time. Here's my DIY fender roller that I made for only $50.00. This turned out better than what I expected it to be considering the cost of materials. The hardest part was finding a proper polyurethane wheel to act as the roller. Why did I make a fender roller? Well I have a new set of wheels going onto my car and rolling the fenders was the only option for the wheel width and offset that I'm going with. Sorry, no spy shots of the wheels but below are pictures of my fully adjustable fender roller. I can't wait to test it out!
It's been a while and I'm getting a lot of e-mails from people asking about the rear lip project. I'm still working on the project, but I have been working on too many projects simultaneously causing this one to be delayed. One part that I do need is the ISIS S14 exhaust. I'm still waiting for that to be produced to fit onto this car. Maybe Enjuku will send me one? Stay tuned.
Thank you everyone for the massive amount of e-mails and comments in regards to the prototype Vtund.com S14 Zenki Rear Lip. As promised, the more feedback I get the more updates I will give back. So enjoy the updated pictures of the prototype. You can see that I've been spending a massive amount of time sanding and making adjustments to various angles and measurements to ensure that the part is perfect from every angle. One of the most simplistic ways to make sure everything is proper is to use lighting and a flat tool. I even used lighting to show where my high and low spots were and to show where I needed to spend more time leveling areas. If you look closely you can see how the part slightly increases in length towards the wheel wheel. Next is to spend time finishing the bottom or under part of the lip. Yes it's tedious, but it's all in the detail and the pursuit of perfection.
It's back to Project: Vtund.com x VB Designs Nissan S14 Rear Lip. Thank you everyone for the e-mails and following the posts in the various forums. This time I actually have the rear part of the lip mounted on one of my cars and I also finished adding on the side entension. I still have a lot of sanding to do, so stay tuned!
I'm in process of re-designing my Vtund.com x VB Designs Nissan S14 Zenki grill. The V2.0 will be bigger and smoother than the original. Below are some pics of the process. Stay tuned for the re-release of this part!
